Five Premium Bond holders who purchased winning bonds this year each received £100,000 in rewards
NS&I has declared the winners of the Premium Bonds prize draw for April

Following National Savings and Investments' (NS&I) April prize draw, two fortunate holders of Premium Bonds became overnight millionaires, and numerous others received some additional cash. Five of the winners bought their winning bonds this year, and they each took home £100,000.

South Yorkshire and Hertfordshire are the two new Premium Bonds millionaires selected this month.

The South Yorkshire winner possesses 43,165 in Premium Bonds and bond number 494WG724922. Relatively recently, in March 2022, the winning bond was bought.

The second Hertfordshire winner has precisely 50,000 in Premium Bonds and 418AW560890. October 2020 was also a relatively recent purchase of their winning bond.

Only a few months after purchasing the winning bond, five bondholders each received £100,000.

Four of them purchased the winning bond in February of this year, which meant that the bond was eligible for the prize draw in April. The fifth person purchased the bond in January.

Cambridgeshire, Birmingham, Inner London, Somerset, and Ealing are the winners.

Agent Million, an employee of NS&I who has the impressive responsibility of traveling the nation to inform jackpot winners of their newfound wealth, will have visited the two jackpot winners.

To safeguard the identities of the employees and the winners, Agent Millions' identity is kept completely confidential.

You may still be one of the 50.9 million people who have won a piece of this month's Premium Bonds prize pot, which topped 412 million, even if you haven't received a visit from Agent Million.

Out of billions of individual bonds, NS&I's Electronic Random Number Indicator Equipment, or ERNIE, was responsible for drawing all winning bonds.

You can find out today if you were fortunate enough to win a high-value prize. Otherwise, tomorrow, April 2, holders of Premium Bonds can verify whether they received smaller prizes.

"Congratulations to our winners in South Yorkshire and Hertfordshire! These April jackpots demonstrate the transformative potential of Premium Bonds for savers worldwide," stated Andrew Westhead, NS&I Retail Director.

This month, ERNIE gave out more than 5.9 million prizes totaling over 412 million, so it's not just about the jackpot millionaires. This gave many customers cause for celebration.

April 2025: Winners of Premium Bonds.

The first draw will take place in April using the new, lower prize fund rate of 3 percent. NS&I uses this rate as a benchmark to decide how many prizes should be awarded each month.

However, Marchs draw still has the same odds of winning a prize (22,000 to 1 for every 1 bond).
